报告摘要 Abstract：From a physical point of view, one expects a PDE system to be well-posed. Mathematically, however, many fluid equations exhibit instability, ill-posedness, or even singularity formation. We will present several constructions that demonstrate ill-posedness and blowup phenomena for fluid equations, highlighting some of the mechanisms that drive these behaviours. 

个人简介 Bio：Mimi Dai, Professor in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Dai obtained her PhD in mathematics from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Colorado at Boulder and UIC. After spending a year at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton as a von Neumann Fellow, and at Princeton University as a visiting professor, she is now a full professor at UIC.
