报告摘要:In this talk I will introduce the implosion blow-up results for the compressible Euler, the compressible Navier-Stokes equations and the defocusing nonlinear Schrödinger equation. We will discuss the existence of self-similar solutions and the stability near those solutions. During the talk I will mention our work with Gonzalo Cao-Labora, Javier Gómez-Serrano and Gigliola Staffilani on the first non-radial implosion result for those three equations.

个人简介:Jia Shi is currently a C.L.E. Moore Instructor at MIT, where she is mentored by Gigliola Staffilani. Her research interests lie in the field of partial differential equations. Beginning in August, she will assume the position of assistant professor at Indiana University Bloomington. She completed her PhD at Princeton University under the guidance of Charles Fefferman and Javier Gomez-Serrano. Prior to that, she pursued her undergraduate studies at Fudan University, where her advisor was Zhen Lei.
